Description Thomas Tanghus 2011-11-28 15:12:23 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

I usually have my master channel at 50-60. Whenever I log in it is back to 100 again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set the volume below 100, log out and in again.

Actual Results:
The volume is set to 100.

Expected Results:
The volume should be set to what it was before log out.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-14-generic
Compiler: gcc

Master channel is set to "Internal Audio Analog Stereo".
Backend is Phonon GStreamer 4.5.1.
Kubuntu 11.10, KDE 4.7.3
KMix version 3.9 but it is not available in the dropdown list.

I believe you're right. I used the workaround in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249180#c12
First I lowered the volume, restarted kmix and ran 'kmixctrl -r'. The volume restored to 100. The I set the volume to 70, ran 'kmixctrl -s', rebooted and the volume restored to 70.
I'll set it as a duplicate of 249180.
