Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: After choosing to install Mozilla Thunderbird, the password of the root account is asked so as to proceed with he installation. After that a dialog appear for me to accept the software signature. After that, a above the progress bar, the message "Waiting for service to start" appears, and it stays like that forever. Actual Results: The application I wanted to install, was not installed Expected Results: It should have installed the application. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.2-1.fc16.x86_64 Compiler: gcc
Rex, I do not know which package manager Fedora uses.
apper I suspect it's a problem with initial import of rpm gpg keys.
A quick-n-dirty workaround is to run (as root): 'yum update' once which will prompt to import keys, then apper will be happier again.

I can't recall the commits but this was fixed with some other things EULA, Rex Dieter has tested and Apper from git now works. I'll soon make a new release. Thanks.
