Description anttiah 2011-11-26 10:28:52 UTC
Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: MS Windows

I have installed digiKam 2.3.0 for Windows in Win 7 64 bit Home Premium. Trying to open Handbook from Help-menu causes Windows pop-up to appear that tells you that kioslave.EXE has stopped working. Thus you can't view Handbook.

This might not be a digiKam bug but wanted to report it anyway.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Run digiKam 2.3.0 in Windows 7 --> Help menu --> digiKam Handbook

Expected Results:
DigiKam should view the digiKam Handbook.

Kioslave really crashes, but it ACTUALLY OPENS "The digiKam Handbook - KDE Help Center". Thus I wrote partly incorrectly above. Windows pops up two times its error dialog reporting kioslave.EXE crash.

Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.45 or greater or with Windows 10?
