Count is 1 but should be 2

Version: 3.6 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

The attached screen shot shows the beginning of a Klondike game. 2 aces are moved by software but the count is only 1.

Because the average number of moves needed to finish a game is now somewhat lower than in earlier versions (~115 instead of ~120) I suspect this also happens later in the game.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
If the number in the window title (1137014576) is tied to the random generator it should be reproducible.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:

I don't think I saw this bug in earlier versions (~1 year ago) of kpat.

Comment 2 Bogdan Udrescu 2011-11-26 15:14:25 UTC
I can confirm this bug on version 4.7.2
Steps to reproduce:
1.start a klondike game
2.press new deal till the game send two aces to the top
The count will be 1 for a single ace and still 1 for two aces.

I have also added a screenshot.

I can confirm the bug on KPat version 3.4, KDE 4.6.5, on Mac OS X. Looks as though it has been around awhile.

I can confirm. This is a regression as I know I spent a lot of time fixing this for some previous release. I'll see what I can do.
Comment 5 Parker Coates 2012-01-23 02:43:37 UTC
As far as I can tell, the issue only happens with autodrops at the very beginning of a game (Klondike or other). If any of you can find a case where it happens mid-game, please attach a saved game demonstrating it.

Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported and confirmed, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "CONFIRMED" when replying. Thank you!
