Description Susanne Oberhauser 2011-11-25 11:29:54 UTC
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

Hi,

in Chromium, if you search for something (C-f something), all parts of the text that contain 'something' are marked yellow in the scrollbar.

any plans to have this fun gadget in konversation, too?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
hit c-f something

Actual Results:
normal incremental search, with no overall cues on where the serach text occurs beyond the current match

Expected Results:
have markers in the scrollbar where they are for the whole text.

that allows to use the scrollbar to wuickly go to 'interesting' parts of the text.

as a bonus: add highlighting for all matches.

I really like the way chromium does this.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.10-0.2-default
Compiler: gcc
