Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux Upon disconnecting a vpnc connection, I got a report that some "KDE service" (KDE szolgáltatás in Hungarian) had crashed, and I had to realize that KDE wallet had gone away. In addition to losing KDE wallet, I get disconnected from the network (wifi, or mobile broadband, for example), and I have to reconnect including typing my KDE wallet password again. When the crash and disconnecion happens, all the available network connections disappear from the panel of plasmoid networkmanagement, too. Sometimes I also observed that some network connections are replaced with the some text saying that nothing provides some dbus resource. As far as I can remember, the misiing resource is some kde and network related and its name end in desktop.org or something like this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: disconnect vpnc connection Actual Results: KDE wallet crashes, every network connection disconnects. Expected Results: Only the vpnc connection should disconnect and the KDE wallet shouldn't crash.
Are you sure it is not a duplicate of #283105?
(In reply to comment #1) > Are you sure it is not a duplicate of #283105? Probably not. plasma-NM can happily open kwallet, just like me. This crash only happens when I DISCONNECT from vpnc. Can you reproduce it using the secret data I sent to you?

You are using NM-0.8. Plasma NM for NM-0.8 was deprecated and unmantained for some months now. You should upgrade to NM-0.9. Anyway, bug #276467 includes a link to the commit that fixes this bug. I am very busy these days because of my new job. I am going to try to fix some Plasma NM bugs tomorrow, but not for NM-0.8. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 276467 ***
