Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux knights (2.4.0) crash every time I undo my move. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just undo your move after first few moves. Actual Results: In gnuchess console I get message "Illegal move:" and program crashes. Expected Results: Take back my last move.
What version of Gnuchess do you have? It's possible that it doesn't support the command to take two moves at a time. Also, out of curiosity, did you press "undo" while it was the engine's turn or yours? Is the result different in these two cases? Could you also try the same with another chess engine (crafty)?
Gnuchess is 5.07-155.1.2 version and it doesn't matter when I press undo because result is the same. With crafty i've got the same message in console but app didin't crash. After few moves i got "The Game ended in a draw" message but that it's not true. And after I start new game, knight crashes.
