Description Tobias Hagberg 2011-11-23 08:38:47 UTC
Version: 2.3 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

Krita shuffles menu entries randomly, while working with images.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open, work with and save images, and watch menu entries move around randomly.

Actual Results:
Krita moves around menu entries.

Expected Results:
Krita shouldn't move around menu entries. They should be placed in their expected order: File, Edit, Image etc., not for instance View, Layer, File ...

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10, with Unity.

I'm sort of thinking that this must be an ubuntu bug -- I can check, but I've never seen that happen before.

Hi,

I just tried on my ubuntu installation, and yes I can this happening. Even weirder is that sometimes the menus rearrange themselves back to order after clicking in a krita window. But I'm afraid that this really is a Ubuntu bug specific to their top menubar implementation. It'll likely affect all KDE/Qt applications. It would be best to report this in Ubuntu's launchpad.

OK, thanks for verifying this weird behaviour. I will report it on Launchpad.
