Description Douglas Peale 2011-11-23 06:35:09 UTC
Application: k3b (2.0.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.2 (4.7.2)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-13-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I first attemped to burn the two albums "EvilWezil - EvilWezil" and "EvilWezil - Requium for a Dying Star" to a single disk with Brasero, crashed while normalizing data.
I then installed XFBurn and tried to do the same thing, it crashed halfway through.
I then installed K3b, it crashed while I was trying to add the files, specifically the first track of Requium for a Dying Star, "Overature". I draged the file from Nautilus to K3b and K3B instantly crashed.
I have previously been able to burn "EvilWezil - EvilWezil", but I have never been able to burn "Requium for a Dying Star"
These two albums are available from http://evilwezil.bandcamp.com/releases as free downloads.
I can play the music fine on my computer, but I need it on a CD to be able to play it in my car.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

k3b (2.0.2) on KDE Platform 4.9.2 using Qt 4.8.3

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

still trying to burn a copy of Requium for a Burning Star by EvilWezil
Select files, select burn instant crash every time.

I reported this bug in January It is still a problem. There seem to be many people with similar issues. As far as I can tell, there have been no changes to any CD burning softare in that time.
