Description Alejandro Nova 2011-11-22 13:20:27 UTC
Version: 4.8 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

If left indexing, then akonadi_nepomuk_feeder will index the same set of e-mails over and over again, resulting in duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicated entries when I look for mails using the Nepomuk search interfaces.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Leave akonadi_nepomuk_feeder index mail.
2. Reboot, after watching CPU skyrocket as per bug 287187.
3. Try to look for mails. You'll watch an e-mail entry and two, three, four, or even ten Nepomuk bogus entries. When you click on every of those, you open Dolphin.

Actual Results:
Lots of entries per mail, lots of CPU waste.

Expected Results:
One entry per mail, quick indexing, no waste.

KDE 4.8 Beta 1.

This happens only when upgrading a database from KDE 4.7.
Comment 2 Alejandro Nova 2011-11-23 12:05:44 UTC
Tested with a newly created database, and the issue remains. Akonadi Nepomuk Feeder will index again and again all my mail.
Comment 3 Alejandro Nova 2011-11-23 22:42:38 UTC
Tested with an incorrect version of Shared Desktop Ontologies. If I can replicate with s-d-o 0.8, I'll reopen this.
