Description basu123ra 2011-11-21 13:08:54 UTC
Version: 0.5.81 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

When I tried to save any pdf using the okular's web plugin in Chromium (15.0.874.120), I get an error box saying:

"The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly."

and the file is renamed as "kpart_plugin_V27488.pdf".

For other side, making the same process with Firefox 8, I can save perfectly the pdf, even the name is still renamed.

Sorry for my English.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open any pdf in the web with chromium and try to save it using the web plugin of okular.

Actual Results:
A error box saying

The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly.

The file is renamed like "kpart_plugin_V27488.pdf" and the save window keeps freeze (of course I can't save the pdf).

Expected Results:
Save the pdf without problems with its original name.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-CHAKRA-LTS
Compiler: gcc

I'm closing this as invalid since Okular does not provide any plugin for chromium. You will have to look what software is really enabling this to happen and complain to them since it's something totally out of our control.
