At first I spotted that for the folders stored locally, I cannot see the content of messages (even though I've seen the message lists correctly, with new emails copied into them)

then I restarted the PC, and reopened kontact

then, not seeing the email contents again, I pressed on "refresh" for the kmail folders. This did not seem to help (nothing in the progress bar), so I cancelled the progress. After a while kontact has crashed
