The global nickname + avatar setting doesn't work in practice.
We should copy what Empathy does.

Is it worth writing when it will change with Nepomuk? As a bonus PIM data will be handled automatically thne.

How will any of this change with nepomuk?
This is about how you are represented to the server. i.e Jabber can send an entire vCard of info. (but hotmail has nothing)

Ok. My point was that with the Nepomuk integration even accounts would/should be handled through Nepomuk. But I guess we can make it part of Accounts KCM and leave it solely on Telepathy and sync-back Nepomuk with Tp signals.
