Description hartmut.springer 2011-11-14 12:37:48 UTC
Application: plasma-desktop (0.4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.3 (4.7.3)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic-pae i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Logoff and shutdown the computer. The system crashes only at times, not reproducible.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

Sometimes, the system hangs (black screen), when I leave the computer for some time. A reboot is necessary then (magic sysrq or reset button). This happens also on a irregular basis (by chance), even though I disabled all energy option meanwhile.

All crashes occured using KDE 4.7.2 and 4.7.3 as well.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Plasma-Desktop-Umgebung (plasma-desktop), signal: Segmentation fault
