Description Matze 2011-11-12 19:37:25 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS:                Linux

Using an convertible laptop my resolution is 1366x768.
For reading I rotate the screen (90°) using 'xrandr'.
This works for plasma-desktop, but plasma-device doesn't resize itself. (take a look at screenshot1)

Additionally, if I've rotated the screen, kill plasma-device (killall plasma-device) and start it again, there's the right button missing, which leads back to the background.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
* Start plasma-device
* rotate the screen 90° left or right

It also works the other way round:
* rotate the screen 90°
* start plasma-device
* rotate back to normal view

Actual Results:
plasma-device is too wide or too small for the new resolution.
The apps are not re-sorted.

Expected Results:
Plasma-device should resize itself.

Plasma Active is no longer under development. (Plasma Mobile, the successor, does support screen rotation and I remember it took a lot of effort to get right)
