Description Pascal Volat 2011-11-12 10:00:46 UTC
Version: 2.2.0 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

When using the geolocalisation tool to update coordinates metadata of a batch of pictures, clicking on a position on the map do nothing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a picture, use the "image" menu, then select géolocalisation
2. Select image in the image list widget
3. Select Coordinates
4. Click on the map to feed coordinates to the tool

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Previous iteration of the tools used to update coordinates to the selected point on map (with position marked on the map)

This problem was mainly tested against Google Maps widget, but also happens with Marble.

Hi Pascal,

the way this new widget is supposed to work is to drag-and-drop images from the list onto the map. A "Pick coordinates" button is planned, but not yet implemented.

That's right, I did not think of this way to input coordinates. Maybe some contextual help could better indicate what we can do? Thank you very much!

Maik,

Editing coordinates in items list is not to hard to do. There is a model view implemented in GPSSync tool about this list. This one must be fixed to support local editing in rows.

Hi Gilles,
This bug is not in the agenda, several versions are being followed since the opening. That's why I ended.

Gilles,
To the offending version, it probably remains valid. However, this bug was corrected in later versions, and now everything works, at least on my machine.
