Version: 4.5.3 (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux Installation in ubuntu 11.10, after starting the great software kmymoney i am not able to resize the window that it fits into my small netbook screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: It was able to adjust the view via changing the font size, but that doesn't solve the problem! Actual Results: I was not able to reduce the window size. To view the other area i need to move the window by using "Alt + left mouse click" for moving the window. Expected Results: It would be nice if the collumn widths should be adjustable automatically. And may be it is possible to reduce the size of the left side bar where the overview button is visible. This doesn't need to be that big in its symbol and font size. Thanks a lot for your great work Regards OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic Compiler: gcc
For small resolutions you have other option like: 1. Switch to 'Tabbed view' instead of 'List view' in General->View tab in the settings dialog 2. Hide the title bar from the same place 3. Hide the status bar Last time I've checked this was enough to fit kmymoney into a 1024x600 resolution. Should these settings be automatically set if a small resolution is detected?
