Description davidblunkett 2011-11-11 11:02:40 UTC
Version: 0.12 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Several minor but irritating UI issues:

(1) If you open an encrypted document and happen to recompile it okular fails to try to attempt the original password which in my case ends up with numerous okular windows all baying for passwords.

(2) You can't open files in new windows

(3) If you open some file types that are not supported sometimes you have to respond to more than one "Could not find a plugin / Could not open" dialogues but this isn't always consistent sometimes you get both messages, sometimes just "could not open"

(4) Open recent - is inconsistent across instances of okular and therefore usually out of date if you use more than one instance of okular at a time.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
See above

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
(1) okular could try the previous password unless there is a decent reason not to
(2) File:open as new window
(3) "Could not file plugin" should suppress "Can't open" always
(4) Recent documents should consistently refer to the recent opened documents across all instances.

One bug/wish per report please, otherwise it is impossible to properly keep track of what is fixed or not.
