- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I hit the Send Button of the Kmail compose message dialog. (So I guess the bug is triggered by closing the window?)
I did not have this problem with 4.7.2 and plasma-desktop does not crash by closing other windows.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
