Description Ettore Atalan 2011-11-07 21:54:29 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

OS: Kubuntu 11.10

KDE crashed after updating from 4.7.2 to 4.7.3.

The Workspace crashed, no more desktop icons and file write-support was no longer available in all KDE programs. Trying to save a file within a KDE program caused error messages like 'klauncher: input/output error. Unknown protocol "file"'. Non-KDE programs had no problems saving a file.

So, I had to think some minutes how to save the crash handler log and came to the idea to save the crash log on my Googlemail account as email draft running a non-KDE browser (Chromium). Thanks to Google!

rekonq 0.8.0 had a very strange behaviour and was loading every single graphic/picture of the loaded website into Okular.
