Version:           1.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) 
OS:                Linux

As shown in the snapshot, information panel shows image preview as though it were a music/video file, with a play button under it. When the button is pushed, nothing changes, except it turns itself into a stop button. When stopped, nothing happens.
