Version:           4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3) 
OS:                Linux

After upgrading my system from 4.7.2 to 4.7.3, mail is siting in outbox, and does not get sent anymore.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Compose a mail

Actual Results:  
Mail does not get sent. Stays in Outbox

Expected Results:  
Mail should get sent!

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.6-gentoo-richBOOK
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc

Please provide way more information, e.g. what kind of server/service this is about, or potential error messages.

It just started working again the next day. Although I tried restarting and it still was there. Whatever problem that was, it's gone.

I have the same problem. I installed the kubuntu ppa packages for 4.7.3 and now kmail doesn't send mails.

The mails stay in the outbox. Even when choosing send outbox ("Postausgang versenden")
There is no error shown nor does it seem as if kmail tries to send the mails (no progress indicator).

I found a similar issue https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282307.

The "mail dispatcher agent" was offline. I started it with aconadiconsole and now the mails are sent again.
