Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux I have KMail running and when I click on Message Indicator in system tray there is only informational notification with list of supported applications (KMail between them) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run KMail 2. click on Message Indicator in system tray Actual Results: only informational notification appears Expected Results: menu with number of unread mails discussed at KDE Community Forums: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=97482&sid=a9501c74790e2f47ec0a0daf216f36b4&p=206865#p206865 There is missing checkbox in KMail 4.7.2 called "Use Message Indicator". That could mean that message indicator support in kmail was dropped and notification should be corrected (I have spent a lot of time figuring out why it is not working when it claims it should work). Otherwise it is a bug that should be fixed.
The Message Indicator is not part of KDE SC, it is developed and maintained by Canonical, so please file a bug against Kubuntu at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ Thanks :)
I have a similar problem since Kubuntu 11.10 on my aim.com (aol mail account): After sending a mail, Kmail2 failed to copy this mail in the sent IMAP Folder: "server replied: A000035 No append failed" SMTP with smtp.aim.com and Port 587, TLS. Kmail 4.7.3 on Kubuntu 11.10 amd64
