This crash happens in Plasma NM's kded module, not in monolithic knetworkmanager. So it is not unmaintained.

An thus not a duplicate of #242891.

None of the crashlogs in here or in the duplicates are really usefull. You need to install the debug symbols and reproduce the bug, so that I can find where it happens.

Which Plasma NM and NetworkManager versions do you use? You can see Plasma NM version in the kcm (click on Manage Connection and then on the Other tab, there is a string "Version: ..." there).

I think you all are using an old version of Plasma NM. (K)Ubuntu 11.10 ships with a very old version from June of this year, that is more than 5 months old. You really should ask (K)Ubuntu to provide packages for newer releases, preferably 0.8.98, which I released last Saturday:
