Version: unspecified OS: Linux sometimes I get this error: "element can not be received - request resulted in error 401" (translated from German. Sometimes opening the resource and refetching all collections (7, Google Calendar, but I had the same problem with another Caldav server) helps, sometimes not. Sometimes restarting akonadi fixes the problem, sometimes not. Heavy network/internet load seems to contribute to the problem, but I'm not sure about it. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: add Caldav resource with several collections. Wait and work. Actual Results: At any time, the above error message can pop up - sometimes after half an hour, sometimes it works for two days... Expected Results: no error message, it should work.
addition: Akonadi does not seem to be patient enough with server replies. If I have running down- or uploads, the resource that is trying to sync at the time, starts complaining or even crashes.
It's still there. additional information: I have seven caldav collections for my google calendars. One of them isn't working, the others seem to work well. I don't know what the difference is. It is the biggest, and it had the longest name. I shortened it, just to be sure it doesn't come from spaces in names. in akonadiconsole it show 592 entries with around 224kb. When the problem starts occuring, the size goes down to less, sometimes 70kb, sometimes 150kb. Some of the entries have question marks in them. Any other information I could contribute? It's pretty annoying and if I could help resolve this, I'd be happy...
additional info: one of the caldav resources has over 500 entries, this is the one that is refusing to sync. the other 6 sync without problems (found out in akonadiconsole).
I experience this problem as well (KDE 4.7.4). seems to be fixed
