Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux I am running kde on a 2007 thinkpad T60 with ATi graphics using open drivers. With desktop effects on there is a blocky breakup of the window when it is being scrolled through. This is cured when the scrolling stops, so is a problem with smoothness of movement only. I don't remember this in 4.6. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: turn on desktop effects, scroll Actual Results: as above Expected Results: smoothness!
Does this only happen when there are windows below the window where you scroll, or also when it is the only window on screen?
After a bit of experimenting it doesn't seem to break up when it is the only window open. hope this help On 27/10/11 18:50, Christoph Feck wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285111 > > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Christoph Feck<christoph maxiom de> 2011-10-27 17:50:57 --- > Does this only happen when there are windows below the window where you scroll, > or also when it is the only window on screen? >
sorry, but I don't get what you mean with "break up". A screenshot or screencast might help to understand.
