Description Craig 2011-10-27 14:56:49 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

I tried to add new menu items under Development. I was trying to replace a menu item I removed and can not create a new one. All appears to create properly I click save, but when I goto the KMenu to see if my new item exist it does not. I Edit the Applications.. (kemenuedit) and my item is gone.

All was working fine, it seems after updating to the latest kubuntu I have had this problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add an new item to the kmenu to launch (I added pycharm) and the icon.

Actual Results:
All appears to have worked in kmenuedit but the kmenu does not show my changes. If I restart the kmenuedit my changes are gone.

Expected Results:
I epect to see my item I added.

I have recently changed the splash screen but I don't see how this would be the problem.
