Version:           0.7 (using KDE 4.7.2) 
OS:                Linux

Error "Invalid argument"

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
preview and scan

Actual Results:  
error

Expected Results:  
scan

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.6-0.7-desktop
Compiler: gcc

workaround - sometimes
* restart skanlite, disconnect scanner , turn off scanner
* redimension the selected are in preview

Do you still get the same error with newer versions?

It also smells like a backend problem...
