Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux Importing transactions a lot of times the splitting to be done is the same for several of them [1]. To avoid that tedious work it would be nice to be able to apply already performed splits to other transactions. [1] http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=1319579239.6723.6.camel%40mattotaupa&forum_name=kmymoney2-developer Reproducible: Didn't try Expected Results: I could imagine an option »Save splitting as …« and enter a name and then right clicking on a transaction one could choose the saved splitting from before and the splitting would be filled in from that template. Actually I am wondering nobody else has brought this up. So I am guessing there is a solution out there already. Possibly including scripting.
Version 5.0 contains a 'Copy splits' function in the transaction context menu which does just that. It is available if you select a transaction with multiple splits and one that has none or only one split assigned. That amounts of the splits will stay as they are. In case that fulfills your needs please resolve this entry as fixed.
