Version:           2.6.4 (using KDE 4.6.5) 
OS:                Linux

The launcher is visible although a KDE KOnsole window is open - as seen int he screen shot.
This issue started when I choosed to use the pager and to have different background settings for each of the 4 desktops.


Reproducible: Didn't try

Yeah, I do observe similar problem (not limited to konsole) when I set the taskbar to only show minimized programs. 

But this should be a problem of the taskbar or something related, not a problem of konsole.

It doesn't happen on my KDE 4.7.4

Right - 

but now sometimes it isn't visible on one desktop if a konsole windows is open at another desktop :-(

Adding an icon to the panel (which is what it looks like is the case here) is different to adding a launcher to the taskbar.

Remove it.
Open konsole
Right click the taskbar "show a launcher when not running"
