Snapshot of korganizer

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

I have configured a groupware calendar. I can't see it in the agenda list. But it appear in as an agenda in config panel.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Erase .kde and .config. Try to configure an egroupware agenda.

Expected Results:
It should appear in the agendas list

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic-pae
Compiler: gcc

Hi,

What you are seeing is only the resource, not the agenda. This means that no calendar was found, which is quite surprising as I'm testing with eGroupware quite a lot. Which version of eGw are you using, and which URL have you configured (or have you used the wizard)?

Cheers,
Grégory
Comment 2 Thierry Chich 2011-11-02 13:00:50 UTC
Hi,

I have used the wizard. I found the server since it show me two protocol,
caldav and cardav.

My EGW is Stylite's <http://www.stylite.de/>
EGroupware<https://bv.ac-clermont.fr/egroupware/about.php>Community
Version 1.8.002.
Is there something else I can do ?

Thanks.
Thierry

Hi,

If I understand correctly you are seeing the two URLs that were configured. This does not necessarily mean that the calendars can correctly be detected (though it should). From the configuration dialog, can you try to edit the urls? From the new dialog that will pop-up test the 'Fetch' button to see if collections are correctly discovered.

Cheers,
Grégory

Hi Thierry,

This means that the URL is not correctly configured. As it seems your eGroupware is installed at '/egroupware', can you check that this path is correct in your configuration?

I've tested with the same version as you, and it's been working fine for days.

Cheers,
Grégory

Erm, I mixed up the bug numbers. This one is still open, pending an answer :)
Comment 8 Thierry Chich 2011-11-22 08:06:26 UTC
Hello,

I have solved this issue using the manual configuration.

And now, I have used the wizard, and it works fine. I don't know what I
have done wrong exactly. Perhaps I didn't have understood where is the real
location on my server ? Don't know, but I know that it was very confusing
to discover two ressources (caldav and carddav) and that nothing was going
further.

Thank you for your help and thank you for your work on kpim. It is very
nice project.

Many thanks again,
Thierry.
