Did you import an alarm template into your alarm templates calendar, or did you create a new alarm from a template?

The bug description indicates an error in playing a sound file - was this connected with the alarm template which you mention, or was this another alarm which was playing the sound file?

Hi sorry for the late reply, i was importing an alarm template created from
kubuntu kalarm in 11.04 that i had saved before performing a clean install
to 11.10 to ease migration. I have now been able to import my 2 alarm
templates and have not suffered any further unexpected closures. Ahh yess i
found i had not migrated the sound file to the same place the template
pointed to this was corrected in both templates and is working perfectly
now. Thank you very much for the reply.

This seems to be the same crash as bug 276387, which also involved audio playback.
