There was a discussion on this before 0.1, we made them load on KDE start as a temporary measure however we need to re-investigate this. When we're in KDE properly it would be bad for our approver/kded to launch (and by nature also launch MC) if the user doesn't use IM at all. We'll get told off for wasting resources I think the kded/approver should start off in a lightweight mode just waiting for MC to be activated by another application (such as the presence applet or CL) at which point they become live and do all their stuff. Needs further discussion.
