I get a similar crash, though i think it might have a connection with kget. If i download a small file that finishes quickly, rekonq continues to work. Does the download go on for a longer time, rekonq closes. Maybe rekonq expects an answer from kget?

I have Ubuntu 11.10 with rekonq 0.8.0 and kde 4.7.2, (qt is 4.7.4, i think), kget 2.7.2
