Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux I'm using hunspell with the myspell-de dictionary, and it seems that kate wants to replace every ocurrence of "ß" with "ss", which is obviously wrong. Strangely enough, Umlauts like ä, ö, ü seem to work fine. When I run hunspell manually, it recognizes the input correctly, but the output from the dictionary is not converted to UTF-8: # hunspell -i utf-8 -d de_DE_frami Hunspell 1.3.2 beißen * beissen & beissen 2 0: beien, bissen Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: use kate with hunspell and myspell-de, enter "beißen". Actual Results: correction proposed: "beissen" (wrong) Expected Results: "beißen" is recognized as correct
Sonnet issue, if any.
somehow the issue resolved itself, bug is obsolete.
