Description STGallagher42 2011-10-20 16:10:04 UTC
Application: kontact (4.7.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.1 (4.7.1)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

My Ktimetracker cannot load stand alone.

ktimetracker
Object::connect: No such slot TimetrackerWidget::updateTabs()
Object::connect: No such slot ktimetrackerpart::keyBindings()
Object::connect:  (sender name:   'options_configure_keybinding')
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty)
  Resource id:  0x760001e

When in kontact: I get the error
.kde/share/apps/ktimetracker/ktimetracker.ics:
Could not save. Disk full?

So, I tried to reinstall. no luck.
I closed the current kimer task list and tried to add a new task when the crash happened.

It was not pretty, but I made the bug report, so maybe I can get some help getting it fixed.

what happens if you start ktimetracker stand-alone?
Comment 2 STGallagher42 2011-10-21 16:38:37 UTC
(In reply to comment #1)
> what happens if you start ktimetracker stand-alone?

You get the message box: Could not create the KTimeTracker part.

The konsole details:

ktimetracker

Object::connect: No such slot TimetrackerWidget::updateTabs()
Object::connect: No such slot ktimetrackerpart::keyBindings()
Object::connect:  (sender name:   'options_configure_keybinding')
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty)
  Resource id:  0x7e0001e

Then even after you close out of the empty box ktimetracker gives you, it is still hung and you have to manually end the processes.
