Description GlobalPrisonOfYoutube 2011-10-20 12:43:59 UTC
Version: 1.2.2 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

Just upgraded to ubuntu 11.10 from 11.04. Using Hauppage Nova-t USB dvb-t stick (recognized in Kaffeine as DiBcom 7000PC). Never had problems before upgrade. When I open Kaffeine and click on television there is no automatic channel start. I then have to click on a channel twice to get the channel to play.Once started the problem persists, and I to have to click twice on any channel to watch it... I'm using a dell inspiron 10v mini, which has a Intel 950GMA onboard video chipset and Atom processors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start 'television' in Kaffeine. No picture/sound. Have to click on channels twice to get channels started. Occurs also when switching between channels.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic
Compiler: gcc

This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc.

You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository:

https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git

If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
