Description abrahams 2011-10-19 23:00:37 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

There is no reason I can see for Local Folders being listed as an account, since it doesn't resemble any other account and isn't used for sending and receiving. Thinking it was there in error, I deleted it and lost all my email.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Delete the "Local Folders" account

Actual Results:
All your email is lost.

Expected Results:
At a very minimum, there should be a warning that you're about to delete all your email.

"Local Folders" should not be listed as an account. The setting for the location of the local folders should be somewhere else.

No it's an account.
We define where is your local folder.
you can restore your email when you point to local folder directory.

We don't delete email we delete account.

And there is a dialogbox to warning that you will remove account
