Description JohnRCox@comcast.net 2011-10-19 01:15:39 UTC
Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

I am using kmenuedit 0.8 on a KDE 4.7.2 on linux 3.0.7 gentoo on an amd64 system. When I create a new menu item, kmenuedit shows it as if it is working correctly. When I exit and examine the start menu, the menu item is not present. If a modify an existing menu item, that item disappears from the start menu. I have tried this as both root and as a user with the same result.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start kmenuedit.
create a new menu item.
Save it.
Examine the start menu.

Actual Results:
Menu item will not be present.

Expected Results:
Menu item will be present.
