After upgrading from ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10 all my events were disappeared!
Please HELP

Please report this bug downstream. I have no idea what korganizer version ubuntu 11.04 has.

All my calendar entries disappeared this morning on restarting computer - no explanation !  Has this module been upgraded recently in a way which is not backwards compatible ?

I don't understand how to restart the Calendar program in a way that will retrieve all the information that is still present (I can see) in .kde4/share/apps/

If this bug is "resolved downstream" - where do I find the advice what to do about it ?

Well, usually if there are problems during a dist upgrade it's a downstream problem.

You can try re-adding a new calendar pointing to your calendar file in  .kde4/share/apps/ ?
