Created attachment 65034 [details] New crash information added by DrKonqi dragon (2.0) on KDE Platform 4.7.2 (4.7.2) using Qt 4.7.4 - What I was doing when the application crashed: When opening particular .MP4 files which are from my university lectures I noticed that dragonplayer with the VLC backend crashed 100% of the time, however when using VLC they worked just fine. Sorry about all that spam DrKonqi was giving me some protocol error and saying that it didn't submit my changes... :S looks like it was working just fine.
This bug is similar to 279254. It is an issue with libvlc and needs to be resolved upstream.
There is one even further upstream, which is bug 261684, which was a problem with the phonon-backend-vlc, solved in version 0.4.1 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 261684 ***
