it would be nice to offer an auto complete option for words from the current dictionary for each tab... 

Reproducible: Didn't try

This has been discussed a lot, whilst KDE might benefit from a more advanced input system, this does not belong in KDE TP, and discussion here will get us nowhere.

If it's supported elsewhere, then I'm happy to add support, make a new bug if that ever comes about.
