Thanks for the report, but I cannot reproduce this issue. Does it occur with other KDE applications too? Could you please check whether disabling compositing in "systemsettings" (systemsettings -> Desktop -> Desktop Effects -> [ ] Enable desktop effects) might resolve the issue?

hi,

this problem only occurs in dolphin when using dolphin with a folder

i tried to run dolphin \\home\images from konsole and it displays the problem in screenshot.

if i run only dolphin it runs well...

i tried to disable the composite and the problem is still there, but it is faster, with the diference that in the place of black it shows white...

i tried this in fedora and kubuntu and the problem exists there...

thanks...

I kind of had the same problem before, it was displaying this when launching dolphin but fast after that the rest appeared and it was looking ok, by fast I mean it wasn't taking even half second.
It was on my old laptop that had a Intel Dual Core with 2.0 Ghz and 64 MB of Integrated Video.

This might be a problem in the compositor, or even the video driver.

1. Can you still reproduce this issue? If not, I'll close this bug.
2. Does this problem also appear in other programs? If yes, the chances are high that this is not an issue within Dolphin itself.

Thanks!

No response -> closing. Please reopen the bug report if you still experience this behavior with newer versions of Dolphin.
