Version: 4.5.3 (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux I'm not sure if this is actually aa bug, but I was puzzled with the behavior, because I don't know how KMyMoney calculates next payment date for scheduled loan transactions. I had set up an loan account for my car. First few transactions were scheduled for first day of a month (as they should be), and somehow KMyMoney switched to eleventh day of a month. I noticed that it might depend on account creation date, so I had to manually edit KMY file. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Not sure. Actual Results: Next payment date depending on account opening date. Expected Results: Next payment date should be first day of a month, regardless of account opening date.
There is a known issue with payment dates for loans at the end of the month if the day of the payment is past the last day of the month. Things might get out of order in this case. We do not have any reports that this also happens with payments scheduled for the beginning of a month.
Why did you need to manually edit the kmy file? You can change an account's creation date in the "file edit" dialog. One question - were any of the skipped days holidays?
I don't think that you can edit creation date for Loan accounts. Days skipped were not holidays. I thought that KMyMoney changed the payment date because the previous payment was few days late... It's hard to tell now, because it happened months ago, and I don't know how to reproduce it now. If it happens again, I will report. Regards
