Browser was left idle connected to my private installation of squirrelmail through HTTPS.  Squirrelmail of course has a javascript timer that refreshes the left hand pane every minute or two.  Version of squirrelmail is:  1.4.9a

Before this version of Kubuntu (11.04) with rekonq was using konqueror 24/7 for several months at a time with no crashes.
