Description pugorg 2011-10-05 21:46:43 UTC
Version: 4.5.3 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

When buying investments the money goes off the checking account but possibly arrives at the investment account 1 or more days later without being on either account in the meantime.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new investment in the investment account.

Actual Results:
There is the same date for the account the money is withdrawn from.

Expected Results:
Allow entering a withdrawal date in the withdrawing account and a different one in the investment acocunt.

This is not a bug, but an accounting problem. A transaction can only have a single date. If you need to exactly keep track of the dates, then create a normal asset account and use it as transfer account. This way, you have two separate transaction, each with its own date.
