- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I have about 5000 mails in a local mail folder (from a POP3 account) that are automatically filtered and organized in several subfolders. If I press the update button, I can see the new mails comming in the base folder and then they are distributed to the corresponding subfolders. I can watch this process because all this does happen very slowly, so that I can even select  an unread message in the base folder before it gets moved away by the filter. I assume that my interaction during the mail update and filtering caused an undefined  state that lead to the crash.
