Comment #7 with the commit there is there from "2010-12-20 12:41:09". This isn't likely to be a duplicate because Ubuntu's KDE packages should be a lot more recent. Might be a regression or unfixed edge case ?

has anyone seen this crash in KDE 4.8? I recall committing a possible fix for this at some time during the 4.8 RC timeframe.
