Point at which download stopped

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: MS Windows

Tried downloading KDE for windows from five different European ftp sites. The digiKam bin.tar downloaded to 38144KB of 38219KB several times from different sites. There were six files that all failed repeatedly to download. The installation repeatedly used Win32 although I am running Win 7 at 64 bits. I could not find out how to rectify this. I also could not find out how to get the files to download from the point where they were missing something. The installation executable then could not install the KDE desktop reporting several errors of missing directories. The result was KDE does not run. Please assist.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Tried different mirrors - ftp sites in Europe. Tried several times to reinstall/repair. Used KDE Installer 0.9.9-1 several times downloading from mirror sites.

Actual Results:
An KDE installation that appears to exist form the Windows start menu but does not run and repeated attempts to get it to repair itself does not work.

Expected Results:
KDE does not run

KDE should be installed on my Win 7 computer

How do I attach more than one file to this report?

Does downloading work with another network connection (potential proxy issues)?
