Version: 2.3.3 (KOffice 2.3.3) (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux Kexi crashes when I try to save a new query by clicking on the SAVE icon. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Click "Create query". Enter the query details on the design form, then click on the SAVE icon. Actual Results: The program crashes and shows the error message as above. Expected Results: The query should have been saved.
Thank you for the report. Could you please provide the test database or explain what table(s) did you define and what query did you try to save?

There are 14 fields. The query is to sort by name as shown below: Column Table Visible Sorting Criteria sheet1.enw sheet1 X sheet1.town sheet1 X 'ABERDARE' sheet1.name sheet1 X Ascend 'Jones' When I add another line or column only and click on Save Kexi crashes. The strange thing is that the query does get saved! When I click on Open the query runs correctly.
I cannot remember if I previously gave you the Kexi error messsage which appears after the crash. "Executable: kexi PID: 2242 Signal: Segmentation fault (11)"
Maybe before sending it to me you could make a copy of the database and remove the table(s) but keep the query? This way you do not need to send your data.
